Kids’ Yoga with Loulou is centered around anxiety and stress management, with mindfulness at the heart of each session. I emphasize breathwork, meditative movement, and expressive flow that kids can use on and off the mat.

Yoga gives kids a chance to decompress and experience sensory relief. Classes are designed to improve balance, flexibility and strength. With a weekly theme in mind to help foster the mind-body connection, I make yoga a holistic experience that’s a ton of fun, too.

Yoga is a great way for kids to boost mood, build focus-endurance, and learn how to take stress-reduction tools off the mat and into daily life. Partnered with schools in NYC for over two years, Loulou has created a uniquely designed curriculum to implement into the school day. How and Where?

After nannying and babysitting for 10 years, and teaching private and group yoga to kids in New York City and The Hamptons for 3 years, Loulou Gaget realized there was an opportunity to take the way kids view mindfulness and yoga to the next level.

Yoga is so much more than a few minutes of movement on your mat, and kids deserve to experience all that it can offer.

Loulou Gaget began teaching kids how to use the skills they learned in yoga outside of the studio while teaching at a private, therapeutic school on the Upper West Side. She realized quickly what a major impact this approach made on kids that were struggling with anxiety, stress, major life changes, or developmental delays. She decided to create programs for private and group sessions that focused on guiding kids to make breath work, meditation, and the yogi mindset a part of their lives holistically.

How and Where?

Private sessions can be done at home, or in your favorite park/outdoor space for an outdoor yoga experience. Summer group sessions are held in the park at pier 60.

Sun Salutations Summer Program!

A small group program held on weekdays for kids ages 5-9.

Held at Pier 60 in Chelsea, Sun Salutations by Yoga with Loulou gets kids excited about yoga, whether they’re just starting out or consider themselves master yogis. Kids can join as little as once a week, or as frequently as 5 days a week.

Each session is two hours long, and designed to get their wiggles out while learning to breathe deep, connect to mind and body, and feel the grounding forces of practicing yoga in nature.

Kids joining will need to bring a yoga mat, water, and a snack if they’d like. To keep everybody safe in the current climate, all kids will be required to bring their own mats. You can also purchase a mat from me. No more than 5 children will be accepted per session.

Pricing:

Sun Salutations Drop In: $1450 for 8 classes of your choice, spread across the summer. Sessions expire Labor Day.

Sun Salutations Weekly Warrior: $800 for one full week of yoga, every morning, M-F

Summer of Salutations: $6000 for 6 weeks, 5 days a week
